Structural Bridge Engineer
SCE is a growing upstate New York firm with an opportunity for a Structural P.E. to assist in planning, designing, and directing structural engineering projects by performing the following duties:
Prepares and monitors budgets
Responsible for project schedules and timely completion of projects Serves as project manager or project engineer and as a designated client contact Assists in coordination of pricing, estimating, scoping and marketing strategies for proposed projects Assists in the preparation of engineering agreements for his/her projects within the department Prepares design computations and quantity estimates Develops probable construction cost estimates for his/her projects within the department Attends client meetings
Responsible for control of work-in-process and monitors outstanding accounts receivable and collection efforts on his/her projects Directs and supervises other engineers activities Handles routine contract administration Prepares or modifies reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, and designs for projects Supervises junior staff, including assignment of work Responsible for project manager and/or project team quality system tasks as defined in the QA/QC manual

BS in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited four year college Eight to Ten years experience Knowledge of AutoCAD and Microstation, and related structural software


Registered Professional Engineer in the State of New York or Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Valid Driver License
